At Total Performance Golf the evaluation process always begins with the TPI-3D Evaluation. TPI-3D uses a powerful three-dimensional motion capture computer with eight electronic position sensors and twenty-seven digitized points to capture every detail of a golfer’s swing, easily and accurately. A virtual reality model of the captured motion is displayed in 3D, as are vital biomechanical values such as postural information, joint angles, speed, acceleration, timing, and most importantly the Kinematic Sequence. All this information is compared to a biomechanical database of elite swings from PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour professionals, depending on the subject being evaluated. A full diagnostic report is given at the end of the evaluation.
