Dear Biltmore Golf Club Members:

We are excited to announce that the renovation project of the clubhouse, its amenities, and overall facilities is currently in progress. This project consists of a complete renovation of the existing building and its restaurant & bar areas.

Specifically, the clubhouse will now have private member locker rooms (with dedicated member restrooms) and an expanded and re-modeled members lounge and terrace area overlooking holes 9 and 18. We have developed the new design, focusing on every detail, with the assistance of the prestigious golf club architecture firm of Peacock & Lewis that is responsible for notable facilities’ renovations in Florida such as the Country Club of Florida, Pine Tree Golf Club, Jupiter Hills Country Club, and the Breakers Palm Beach Golf Clubhouse.

While the period during the renovation will not be without challenges, we will do our best to mitigate the impact on your membership experience. However, there will be a disruption in what your golf routine looks like today; namely in that there will be no access to the clubhouse building once the renovation project begins. This will include the golf pro-shop, locker/restrooms, the members lounge, the members terrace, the new Fairways restaurant (formerly the 19th-Hole), and the cart barn/ bag storage facilities.

With this being said, we require that any member belongings (i.e. golf bags, locker contents, etc.) remaining in the clubhouse and storage areas be removed by no later than February 27, 2023; given we are closing the building facility, driving range, and golf course completely on February 28th and March 1st, 2023, to facilitate the transition into the temporary facilities for/during the renovation period. Upon the commencement of such construction work, no further access will be allowed to the existing facilities and all contents remaining therein will be discarded.

In an attempt to minimize the disruption, the temporary golf pro-shop and outside services operation will move into the conference center space located adjacent to the first tee and the golf cart fleet (which will move into a separate temporary charging and storage structure) will still be available and provided for daily play. We will also provide details on the temporary dining options that will be provided for/on the golf course in a subsequent member communication.

In conclusion, we ask for your understanding during this transition period. But rest assured that, when construction has been completed the Biltmore Golf Course will finally have a member facility for you that is on-par with other championship level structures.

Sincerely,
Lara Pavloff
